TRANSiTION, the European Project that has been running over the last 2.5 years focused on developing a training curriculum, using innovative ways, to contribute to the advancement of digital skills of the cancer care professionals, in Europe.
TRANSiTION officially closed on the 23th of September 2025, with a central high-level event that took place in Brussels.
TRANSiTION Partners met at the European Parliament to summarize and discuss how the project’s outcomes align with the current EU priorities on health innovation, resilience, and workforce development.
The project’s outcomes were presented, while final recommendations to embed digital skills into national and EU workforce were launched.
A call for action, from policymakers was part of the meeting, to guarantee a sustainable, accredited digital training in oncology.
Also, among others, attention was drawn to the connection of TRANSiTION’s results to other central EU initiatives, such as the European Health Data Space.
